Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader:
Business trainer with Direction of communications and Leadership; Program manager with 30 team, Associate consultant participated in programs on telecommunication, trade and finance fields.
All these work experience conducted me to become a leader in Toastmasters.
What experience do you have in strategic planning?
When I was a program manager, I designed the whole executive procedure of the Production development, which has developed my strategic planing a lot based on that experience.
What experience do you have in the area of finance?
I have been the vice president of an consultant companu with more than 10 employees. I learned how to manage both your own finance and organization's finance, and from which I really realized How significant the good financing is for the whole company. Accurate Budget, cost control, profit operating. I believe now I have the ability of team financing.
What experience do you have in developing procedures?
I have a lot experience on managing programs, in which I need design the plan and develop procedures. I experienced the delay of the deadline, the team broke-out during the procedure. But the ability of pushing the plan forward is critical for developing procedures. Luckily I have that experience.
What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?
As a area director, I experienced a lot challenges that I thought I can't go through, but I finally made it. I have learned there is nothing you could make sure to figure out before it happened, but what leaders should do is to prepare it all the time, and make it through by team.
Why do you want to serve as a District leader?
because Division director is a higher level for me to develop my leadership. it means a lot difference from area director. As a District leader, I could access the system of leadership in Toastmasters more to know how to operate a NPO well.
In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?
District mission's major objectives are make a good enviroment for every member to develop themselves better, and help people who want to achieve their dreams to do it step by step, and conduct people to learn the best communication skills and leadership skills.
For me, I would like to be a service leader to help people grow, from that I can develop myself as well.
