Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader: 

I am a salesperson. That make me pay more attention to people, and I am good at guiding and persuading others.

 

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

Firstly, I have a clear five-year career plan for myself. Secondly, when leading a project in TM, such as area contest and NMO, I always use strategies to build my own team and ensure their growth in the project process.

 

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

In the area projects I worked on, I strictly controlled the activity budget, and there was hardly any budget overruns.In all activities, strictly adhere to the non-profit boundaries.

 

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

I’m very good at co-ordination and execution. Once, I was able to take the PM of two activities, the club contest and the District LEAD activity. The two activities were successful, and the number of participants in the LEAD reached more than 100 people.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

Spend more time focusing on people than on things.Focus on the needs of your team members, communicate regularly with them, and build strong connection.

 

Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

1.Find different view, broaden my horizon.

2.Give something back to Division B.

3.Enjoy finding insightful and energetic members, encouraging and leading them to better themselves.

 

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

The main goal is to ensure the healthy operation of the existing clubs, to spread the TM culture to others, so that more people know and join us. I will try to serve existing club and invite more friends to join us.
