17-year's work experience in Fortune 500 organization in project management enables me to focus on goals achievement, team cooperation and team leading. It makes me a leader who not only delivers results but also develops people.

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

I worked from a project planner to a control manager for 13 years. To make strategic plan and control its progress were my main job. Strategic planning is to identify strengths, challenges and opportunities from outside environment and project internally and is to achieve goals and performance.

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

Work in the field of project management and execution makes me keen on cost control and profit obtaining. I believe those are keys of finance area.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

Developing and working with procedures are part of my daily work. The definition of project management is to plan, direct and control resources to meet the technical, cost and time constrains of the project. To develop and follow procedures are how professionals carrying out project management.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

I was Division C director in 2018-2019. This position was significant for my leadership transformation. Before taking this role, My mind-set was a manager. Since being a leader in a non-profit organization, I've transformed from a manager to a leader. Achieving goals and results are important, but a leader develops people as well. The 2 are equally important.

Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

1. I gained lots of personal growth in Toastmasters. I remember each help I got from my fellow toastmasters. I also want to pass it by serving others. Service leadership enlightens my life. 2. With my career experiences and Toastmasters experiences, my understanding of Toastmasters value enable me to lead and to serve.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

The major objectives of district mission are "clubs" and "members". A district is to build new clubs and support all clubs to achieve excellence. If I have the chance to serve as CGD, I will focus on new market to build more healthy clubs, I will focus on seasoned market to help our existing clubs to perform quality meeting, positive atmosphere and provide an environment that all members grow.
